Pastor Dave Ritz has been the Pastor of New Life since we first started meeting in 2016. He has been married to his beautiful wife Louise since 1990. They share 5 children together. Their eldest son is David Jr., followed by their daughter Cassie (married to Zach), then sons Daniel, Dylan, and Samuel. Pastor and Louise are thankful all their children live locally and are involved in the church.

Pastor Ritz got saved as a young child, but didn’t fully surrender his life to the Lord until 2005. At that time, he enrolled in North Star Bible Institute in Rochester, NY (a ministry of First Bible Baptist Church, where he and his family attended at that time). He studied there for four years and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Divinity in 2009. Shortly after graduation, the Ritz family moved to Mount Morris, NY where Pastor Ritz served as a head pastor for seven years. In 2016, Pastor Ritz planted New Life Baptist Church, starting off with a small but faithful body of believers. The Lord blessed that endeavor and the church is continuing to grow today.

Pastor Dave preaches in a way that is easy to grasp, and doesn’t water down anything the Word of God says. He preaches from the KJV Bible and believes every word. He encourages you to read the Bible regularly so you can familiarize yourself with the messages God has blessed us with.
